The pieces on this page show my understanding of the fourth standard of the NAEA Professional Standards. The first piece of writing is part of my 5th-grade lesson plan on creating superheroes that will fix the problems students see in the world. This shows my understanding of helping students create meaning through artwork. Students in this Lesson plan create a superhero after they think about how to fix the big problems that they are seeing in the world. The 2nd, 3rd, and 4th pieces are the compositions I played with before gluing my superhero down for my example of this assignment. By requiring students to create 3 compositions, I show my understanding of promoting students to experiment with their artworks.
